In this testimonial, managing director Thomas explains how Elenco and itsme Breemes work together on larger projects and how Elenco has evolved as a company in recent years. Breemes distributes electrotechnical components to industrial end users, machine builders and technical installers.
Short preview:
"Recently they took care of the electrification of a cooling tower. It was a large project at a global producer of stainless steel, where a new production line was being installed. A lot of heat is released during the production process; the heat that cannot be recovered in that process is directed to a cooling tower, which does, however, require a substantial external cooling tower. Elenco took care of the entire electrical part, from building the power panels and controlling the pumps and fans to designing a PLC-based control system for the necessary valves and frequency converters. Of course, it also had to be provided with software."
Steven Claes joined the conversation at Elenco as technical representative of itsme Breemes, Elenco's regular partner for the supply of electrotechnical materials.
"Siemens was a requirement of the end customer, because the brand is strong in automation. For the cabinet building, we looked at various suppliers. Rittal could technically best meet the end customer's wishes, thanks to the copper busbars they use in their cabinets and because they can supply large distribution panels," says Steven. Both Rittal and Siemens were directly involved in the discussions to arrive at the best solutions; itsme Breemes closed the circle so it could deliver the right components, information and offers to Elenco at the right time.
