PalCobot introduction

PalCobot was developed by Elenco to stack products on pallets easily and efficiently. Because of the small footprint and intuitive software the installation of this palletizer cobot can be realized in a very short time. The cobot is standard equipped with a vacuum gripper that can pick up cardboard boxes. Besides the standard gripper, a specific gripper can be developed to pick up products with custom shapes. PalCobot can also de-stack pallets, which makes this development so unique!

Safety first!

By using a collaborative robot (cobot) there is no need for fencing around this machine.The standard stacking speed is 4-5 boxes per minute. When higher stacking speeds (9-10 boxes per minute) are required, the machine is equipped with intelligent safety scanners. These scanners detect when there are operators near the machine. The speed will be automatically reduced to a safe lower speed.

Dynamic deployment

A PalCobot can easily be moved with a transpallet and there is no need for fencing around the machine. This combination ensures that PalCobots can be used very flexible. In case of changes in the production flow or changing production demand, PalCobot can easily be moved to another location in the factory.

PalCobot software

The PalCobot software has been developed so operators can set up the device using a touch screen at the robot itself. Stacking patterns can be set in 3D. Each PalCobot can be integrated on the local network so that the stacking patterns can also be learned remotely. Through the web portal the robot can be monitored and possible errors can be solved quickly. Set programs are remembered by the system so they can be easily re–used later on.
